Our Dressage cones and letters are made from HDPE not PVC. 

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is a cheap and durable vinyl polymer.  It has light weight and high strength properties and is very popular. 

High density polyethylene (HDPE) on the other hand, is a polyethylene thermoplastic that is made from petroleum. It has higher strength, is harder and can withstand higher temperatures.
 

Although both materials are strong and durable, they vary in strength.  HDPE is found to be more suitable and safer to use because HDPE will not shatter with as much force as PVC does.  It is very flexible and can endure harsher handling than more brittle polymers like PVC. 

Our Rails are pure PVC.  Like PVC but when it is not made from recycled materials the quality is not compromised.  They are ribbed (not hollow) which adds strength and eliminates sagging.

We believe these dressage sets to be the best quality you will find!
